Before joining Alexander Hughes as Client Partner, Laurent-Michel has held European and French positions with full P&L responsibility (turnover from hundreds to M€ 1800), in General Management, Sales & Marketing as well as in Services Operations that have led him to develop competencies required on fast moving and competitive markets. His passion consists in bringing breakthrough opportunities and in improving business models, as well as building effective and aligned policy deployment doted of an efficient management process to over perform market trends.
His career has been mainly focused on BTB in High Tech and media, for companies such as SFR or Bouygues Telecom, for which, as executive, he reached a strong double-digit growth in turnover and profit of the BTB entity. Additionally, he has driven the operational merge of SFR and 9C, building the new go to market strategy of the BTB. He has been General Manager in charge of the whole secondary market of NRJGROUP where he obtained a double-digit growth in a context of a decline in the market. Previously, as Xerox Europe VP he has held various responsibilities. Under his tenure of Marketing and Sales VP of the European Graphic Arts Entity, he has made happen the understanding of paradigm changes in the printing industry, based on the convergence of digital data’s and internet. He also succeeded in a turnaround, as CEO of the IT and office supplies subsidiary. As “Customer’ Services BU director” for XEROX France, he revamped structures and processes, generating strong productivity gains, and improving drastically customer’s satisfaction and employee’s motivation. In Parallel, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to start new BTC activities, for the companies he managed and also on his own account.
He earned a Master in Economic and Financial Mathematics from Paris XIII University and then was admitted in postgraduate (French DEA in Economics and International Finance).
