Narinder brings to the table extensive experience in Public Affairs, Communications, Business Development, Strategic Planning and Talent Development spanning across the non-profit, consulting and corporate sector. Her experience enables her to work with clients in the life sciences, communications technology, consumer and lifestyle sectors to recruit marketing, communications and business operations leaders.
She started her career in the non-profit sector where she was involved in health advocacy. She then moved to consulting and joined Grey Worldwide to start the healthcare communications business unit. She built the business to a portfolio of clients which included some of the major pharmaceutical companies in Malaysia and Singapore such as Pfizer, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Aventis Pasteur and GlaxoSmithKline.
Her foray into the corporate sector was with Pfizer where she started the Public Affairs and Communications division in Malaysia and Singapore. One of her key achievements was successfully spearheading the industry drive to influence the regulatory landscape. She was also instrumental in developing the team’s capabilities which led to her secondment to Pfizer India to assist in developing the public affairs team capabilities.
She has been a pro-bono consultant to several non-profit organizations in the culture and consumer movement.
Narinder holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Food Resources and Community Development from the Queen Elizabeth College, University of London. She has completed the women directors training program in Malaysia and several leadership development programs such as Situational Leadership, Creative Leadership, Mentoring and Coaching.
She speaks English and Bahasa Malaysia fluently and enjoys long walks in the outdoors.
