Christiane Doerner is Senior Consultant at Alexander Hughes in Germany. She started her executive search career with another leading executive search firm in 2001. Prior to her executive search career, Ms Doerner held positions such as Head of Sales at ABB Airport Technologies, Sales and Marketing Manager at ABB Power Generation and Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank. She has lived and worked in Germany, the USA, India and Namibia.
Ms. Doerner holds a postgraduate Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne. She speaks German and English. |

Michael Neumann, a German national with 15 years experience as an Executive Search professional, is the Managing Partner of Alexander Hughes Germany.
Born in Frankfurt in 1966, Michael studied Business Administration and International Politics at Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University.
His professional career began at Ray & Berndtson Executive Search where he was a Research Specialist for the firm’s German branches. One year later he was recruited as the Head of Research for Plaut-Deininger Executive Search in Frankfurt.
In 1993 Michael became Project Manager for the industry practice of Burba Kolb & Partners, a Frankfurt based search firm. He was then recruited to be a consultant at Kunze Böcking Executive Search. Over the next four years he had helped build the firm’s business, multiplying turnover and staff by five. He then became the firm’s Deputy Managing Director.
In 1999, Michael co-founded the executive search consulting firm Hager-Neumann-Badura Unternehmensberatung GmbH, specializing in IT, automotive, Consulting and Financial Services. After separating from his two partners after the new economy crisis, he started his own independent firm NEXECUTE GmbH Executive Search specializing in IT, Consulting and Financial Services.
An avid golfer, Michael is also the founder of First Tuesday Frankfurt, a web-based inter-personal and entrepreneurial networking forum.
Michael is married and has one child. He speaks English and French. |

Kurt Hess

Kurt Hess joined Alexander Hughes Germany as a consultant in January 2007. His successful track record and in-depth knowledge of the media, utility and finance industries provide Kurt with a distinct advantage as a consultant working with these and other sectors.
Prior to joining Alexander Hughes, Kurt was Sales/Marketing Manager and Sales Director in the German IT/Telecom Sector. In his last post, he was Managing Director for a European distributor.
Through his varied experiences, Kurt developed a genuine passion for human resource issues. His goal is now to combine HR issues with strategic targets of productivity and cost gains supporting companies to make global business more efficient. Kurt likens his passion for HR issues to a statement made by Jack Welch “Success is driven based on the best people in place”.
Kurt is a member of a number of pan-European associations. He also has background in Business Management and Engineering, with a focus on European Law and Marketing. He is fluent in English. |

Andreas Reimer is a Senior Consultant at Alexander Hughes Germany. He is part of the international Life Science Sector of Excellence of Alexander Hughes.
Previously he has been working as an Executive Search Consultant specializing in life sciences for more than fifteen years with three other leading local and international firms.
He has been conducting searches for a broad range of commercial and scientific positions within the area of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, biotechnology and contract research. A considerable part of these assignments was performed on an international level.
His experience includes searches for the areas related to General Management, Preclinical R&D, Clinical Research (including Drug Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Biostatistics and Data Management), Toxicology, Pharmacology, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Intellectual Property, Investor Relations, Engineering, Production and Quality Management.
Andreas holds a degree in Marketing Communications and is fluent in English and is member of the German Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine (DGPharMed) and the Drug Information Association (DIA). Furthermore, he has been a representative to the German Association of Biotechnology Companies (VBU) from its foundation in 1996 until 2005.
Before joining the executive search industry, Andreas worked several years in the area of direct marketing and market research. |

Mona Offtermatt is Senior Consultant at Alexander Hughes Germany and joined the company in January 2008. She started her executive search career as a Research Associate with KornFerry International and has worked as a consultant for retail, consumer goods and fashion for Hofmann & Heads, now called Heads, a leading executive search company in Germany.
Mona has got several years experience in the executive search, especially in the fields consumer goods, retail & hospitality, fashion and service providers. She focuses on positions in sales and marketing and middle and upper management positions.
Before her time in the executive search, Mona worked several years as a Site Manager for an international Market Research Company in the consumer goods market.
Mona studied Macroeconomics in Mannheim. She is fluent in English and French, has colloquial knowledge in Swedish and basic knowledge in Spanish. |

He started his career in the fashion business and held positions such as Purchasing Manager, Divisional Manager and also was board member of a renowned fashion retailer.
