Susanne Doenitz, a German national with more than 15 years working experience in Russia, is the Managing Partner of Alexander Hughes CIS. Born in Eastern Germany, Susanne studied Oriental Sciences (Japanese language and literature) at Moscow State University (MGU), Humboldt University Berlin and Japanese Foundation Institute, Tokyo.
In 1993 Susanne became a freelance journalist at the German State Television MDR, where she reported from all over the world and worked as foreign correspondent in Moscow/Russia. Susanne gained her managerial experience in the Media business while heading a TV production company from 1997 until 2006. As Managing Director she focused on company and HR development, acquisition, new business fields and international co-productions.
After more than 14 years in leading positions at affiliates of the State Television MDR in Germany Susanne was recruited in 2007 as Head of the German Desk and Media Practice Consultant by a leading International Executive Search firm in Russia.
Susanne knows the Russian society “from inside”, built up a close network of contacts in different industries, knows how to deal with Russian, European and Asian mentality. She conducted searches for different industries (Media, Food Production, Oil & Gas, automotive).
Susanne speaks fluent Russian, English and Japanese. |
