Smiljana started her career as a Wood Processing Engineer in SIK, Kucevo, one of the leading exporters in the lumber and wood products industry in the country. After a year, she left to work for the private company Omega Drvo, Belgrade where she supervised the installment of a modern kiln for wood.
She later joined the private export-import company Atle, Belgrade, an importer of paper and an exporter of fruit. There she developed her skills in foreign trade, specializing in imported goods, sales, and quality support for papers and pulp. At Atle, Smiljana gained additional expertise, working with the producers of the specialty paper of UPM-Kymmene, Finland, one of the world’s leading forest products groups.
Smiljana graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Wood Processing. She holds Master's Degree in International Management and Economics organized by HEC, Paris, France & Faculty of Economics, Belgrade.
She speaks Serbian, fluent English and basic French. |
