Bertrand de Lavenne

Bertrand possesses 10 years of experience as Managing Director of diverse international Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnologies and Medical Devices companies with Roche (Algeria), Abbott (UK) and Mylan (France).

Prior to Managing Directors roles, Bertrand began his career 25 years ago at Servier in Global Marketing and Sales before joining Novartis Global Headquarters in Switzerland. Then, he successively led the Oncology business in Switzerland, Marketing Strategy in Emerging Markets and Marketing and Sales in China.

In those Emerging and Developed markets, Bertrand witnessed and implemented various transitions and transformations due to his strong ability to quickly appraise unfamiliar business contexts in different company cultures and ecosystems.

Bertrand de Lavenne originally studied Pharmacy at the Université of Nantes (France) and in Cardiff University (Wales).

Beside of that, he completed diverse training courses at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
