Ebru Özkök is a well experienced finance professional having more than 25 years of experience in finance management in several sales and production companies, including multi-nationals. Besides her experience in Pharmaceuticals, Medical Device and Building Materials sectors in Turkey, MENA&CA regions; she also has significant experience in mergers & acquisitions, business re-engineering and ERP implementations.

She started her career in Eczacibasi Group and worked in Building Materials and Pharmaceuticals divisions in different finance roles. She led the finance re-structuring and SAP implementation project of Building Materials division, managed several start-ups in Pharma division in several countries including Turkey, Romania, Poland, Egypt and UAE. She also has been involved in the acquisition of a US pharma R&D company, Capintec US.

After joining to Medtronic, the biggest medical device company world-wide, she managed the acquisition of Biostar, a “go-direct” project including re-organization and ERP implementation. Following the global acquisition of Covidien by Medtronic, she managed the Medtronic-Covidien financial, legal and operational merger in Turkey & CA regions. Last, she has worked as the CFO of Georg Fischer Turkey, being responsible for finance, IT, foreign trade and legal functions.

Currently she is in Heidelberg/Germany and is continuing her career as a Finance Consultant for the companies and start-ups in Europe and Turkey.

Ebru has an BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Anadolu University and an MS degree in Industrial Engineering-Stochastic Management Systems from Middle East Technical University. She is also a mentor. She is fluent in English.
