CK, ChaKyoon Koo is a Managing Partner of Alexander Hughes Korea and Visiting Consultant to Frankfurt to serve Korean companies in Europe.

He focus on cross-border assignments between Europe/Americas and Korea for C-levels and executives searches in Automobility, EV batteries, Industrial Technology, Electric & Electronics, Machinery, Utilities, Chemicals, Building Materials, and Logistics & Transportation industries.

CK has a reputation as a trusted advisor who deliver result through agility, commitment, and ownership with integrity. The trust from clients & candidates has been built on 40 years of combined experience of executive search consulting and general management role at western companies. He has in-depth understanding on customers’ complex needs to deal with challenges under today’s VUCA business environment. CK understands what leadership capabilities are critical to transform organization for profitable sustainable growth and how high performance team can be formed & retained.

Prior to Alexander Hughes, CK led the Korea Industrial practice at one of the global top tier executive search firm’s Seoul office for 8 years. Before becoming executive search consultant, he took Asia regional management responsibility as VP & General Manager at DentsplySirona International, based in Hong Kong. CK also has taken various leadership and general management responsibilities with western companies mainly in chemicals & manufacturing industry, such as BASF, Sued-Chemie (Clariant), and Sika.

CK was born and educated in Korea. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Kyunghee University in Seoul and a Master of Business Administration from University of Bath’ Graduate School of Management in Bath, United Kingdom.

CK speaks English and Korean.
