Juan Diaz-Andreu

Juan joined Alexander Hughes Spain, based in Madrid as Client Partner in May 2019 after 26 years of experience in technology, corporate finance and private equity.

Before joining Alexander Hughes, Juan served as General Manager of MBIT School, a business school focused on Big Data and AI. Prior to that, he spent eight years at an executive search and leadership consulting firm. Earlier in his career, Juan worked for a decade at Amadeus IT, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, as well as internal and commercial consulting.

Juan began his career at the National Bank of Spain and the Repsol Group. He then moved to Banco Santander – Corporate Banking, where he led various technological and financial projects within the New Products Development and Special Operations Department. Later, he joined Multitel, a private equity firm specializing in telecommunications and internet ventures.

Juan has a degree in Business Administration from CUNEF, Madrid, Spain and has an MBA as a Fulbright scholar from UCLA Anderson School of Management (Los Angeles, CA, USA). He also has graduate studies at Harvard University and IE / Chicago Booth University. Juan has a postgraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence for Business and is a teacher in 7 Business Schools and Universities. He speaks Spanish, French, Italian and English.

Juan serves as a board member for the Fulbright Alumni Association, the UCLA Anderson Alumni Network of Spain, Ryder Club Spain, CUNEF Alumni, and the Alliance Française de Madrid. He actively collaborates with Eje&Con and Technovation Girls Madrid, both diversity-focused NGOs.
