Jean-Marie Simon

Jean-Marie Simon is the Managing Partner of Alexander Hughes France, where he advises boards and leadership teams on executive appointments, succession planning, and organizational transformation. He brings over 30 years of senior leadership experience across the technology and services sectors, combining deep expertise in digital transformation, global HR leadership, and operational management.

Jean-Marie began his career with Schlumberger, holding R&D and production roles in France before moving into international operations as Technical Director for Asia, Managing Director in Norway.

He later became Chief Information Officer for Schlumberger Oilfield Services, gaining first-hand experience in complex IT strategy and global technology delivery. Following Schlumberger’s acquisition of Sema Group and its resell to Atos Origin, he transitioned to Atos, where he built the Consulting and Integration Systems practices in Human Resources.

At Atos, Jean-Marie held several pivotal leadership positions, including Human Resources Director for France, Germany, Italy, Spain and LATAM, and subsequently Group Executive Vice-President of Human Resources (2007–2013), overseeing global talent strategy and leadership development, member of Group Executive Committee.

He later became Chief Executive Officer of Atos France still a member of the Group Executive Committee, where he led one of the company’s largest markets and managed institutional relations at the highest level.

A graduate with a master’s degree in engineering from ESIEA, Jean-Marie has also been honored as a Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
