Robert Jhaveri

In this role, he focuses primarily on executive and specialist appointments in the financial services, technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), industrial and commercial sectors.

Robert has an impressive track record in the financial sector and investment management. In 1999, he was Head of Scandinavia for HSBC Investment Bank in London, where he worked for a total of 10 years. Prior to that, he spent five years in the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) department of Swiss Bank Corporation (UBS). His career has also taken him to senior positions, including portfolio manager at Millennium Management hedge fund in London and managing director of Dubai International Capital in Dubai. Over the years, Robert has accumulated a wealth of international experience, having lived and worked in several major global cities: London, New York, Paris, Dubai and Sweden.

Robert holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York, obtained on a prestigious Fulbright scholarship. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics and business from Lund University. He is bilingual in Swedish and English. A former reserve officer in the Swedish Air Force, he has worked in strategic war planning.

In 2023, Robert published his autobiography in Swedish, tracing his personal and professional career. Apart from his professional commitments, he is passionate about art and culture. He is the founder and former chairman of the Stiftelsen för Malmö Konstmuseum (Foundation for the Malmö Art Museum), illustrating his deep commitment to the development and promotion of art in his home region
