Koen Vandenberghe

Koen Vandenberghe joined Alexander Hughes in 2025 as a Senior Strategic Advisor, bringing 25 years of experience in leadership roles, including more than a decade in executive search and leadership consulting.

Koen has an impressive track record of successfully filling senior management positions in general management, sales, marketing, finance, operations, IT, and other functional specialties.

Before joining Alexander Hughes, Koen was the Global Talent Acquisition Director in rapidly growing global organizations, where he developed best-in-class Talent Acquisition strategies. Additionally, he was the Managing Partner/Co-Owner of the Belgian office of two global executive search and leadership consulting firms.

Koen also served as the Director of Strategic Marketing & Sales at Lannoo Publishing and was the Head of Stamps & Philately at Bpost, where he was promoted from Sales Manager Indirect Market & Sales Strategy and earlier Marketing Manager. His previous roles included product and marketing management at Lotus Bakeries and Henkel.

Koen holds a master’s degree in applied economics from the University of Ghent and has certifications in Evidence-Based Coaching. He is fluent in Dutch, French, and English. His areas of expertise include marketing strategy, talent development, general management, change management, restructuring/turnaround, integration, business development, sales, team building, and process optimization.
